YOUNG ADULTS

Hey gang! Ethan here—if you’re receiving this email, you’ve communicated to us that you’ll be attending our Young Adult TopGolf event this coming Sunday evening. This is our second young adult event here at NHCC, and response has been fantastic! Find all details below, and i’ll also send a group text as well.

Location: TopGolf Pittsburgh, 400 Presto-Sygan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017. If you’ve never been to TopGolf, it’s an immersive and fun experience that honestly has almost nothing to do with being ‘good at golf.’ (I hate golf and I have a blast).

Times: plan to gather by the main entrance steps around 6-6:15; our bays are reserved from 6:30-8:30 so we can head in together (plus they may be able to let us all in early if we’re all there).

Cost & food: We have 3 bays reserved (we are maxed out at 6 players per bay) plus a couple of creaky old folks like myself who will just hang back and watch. Our package includes a private buffet of heavy appetizers like boneless wings & sauces, meatballs, quesadillas, cheese & charcuterie, various dips / chips, donut holes w/ sauces and unlimited fountain drinks/iced tea/coffee. The total cost of gameplay, buffet, tax and gratuity comes out to around $55/person, HOWEVER—the church is going to cover a chunk of the cost. We’re suggesting $30 per person for this event, payable either by bringing cash with you, or via Tithely (our mobile giving app—link following if you don’t already have an account. (If using Tithely, just use ‘offering’ menu dropdown).

NOTE: if you don’t quite have the $30, please contribute what you can. Conversely, if you’re able to contribute more than $30, that will go towards building a starter budget for future Young Adult events like these. Finally, those 21+ are of course welcome to start your own tab in your bay for any adult beverages, but that’s fully separate from church bill & cost.
