WELCOME! We’re glad you chose to join us today! Here at NHCC, we have a passion for making lifelong followers of Jesus.  You can expect a friendly, casual atmosphere that invites you to explore and discover at your own pace. During the worship service, children’s programming is available for children from infants through students in 5th grade. Here are some components you may experience in your time here today:

Songs of Worship: This is a time where we proclaim together all that God is and all He has done. We invite you to sing along to the words on the screen as they are sung.

Communion: Followers of Jesus are invited to take the provided individual self-serve packets of bread and juice as a ceremonial reminder of God’s great sacrifice of His son, Jesus, on the cross for our sin. If you are unsure, feel free to simply use this time for quiet reflection.  Please discard used cups in the trash as you leave.

Offering: This is our opportunity to give back to God financially from what He has given to us. Please place your gifts and Connect Cards in one of the offering boxes outside the sanctuary doors. You can also give via our mobile app, Tithe.ly.

Invitation: This is an opportunity to respond to God’s prompting by talking with a pastor or leader at the indicated time... to commit your life to Christ through baptism (the water is always warm!), to place membership with the church, for prayer… one way or another, if God is stirring in your heart this morning, don’t leave without responding in some way.

Message this morning: Fixer Upper - wk 11 - Rafael Rodriguez

CURRENT MESSAGE SERIES: “Fixer Upper” shows have been all the rage for over a decade, each one featuring some trendy spin on the same idea: a messy, ugly, or otherwise un-useful house is transformed under the care of someone with the vision and passion to give it new life. Throughout the scriptures, we see a similar and compelling pattern: people encounter a living and loving God, and they experience a transformation—a better path, a clearer purpose, a second chance… a new life. Join us in these coming weeks as we look at several people in the Bible whose lives were given the fixer-upper treatment through the masterful care of God’s amazing grace.

STUDENT POOL PARTY: Students, join us for a "farewell" pool party to show Parker how much he has meant to us before he heads off on his new adventure in Florida. Meet us NEXT Sunday, July 13th at the Terhune home from 6-8pm. Bring your swimsuit and a towel and get ready for a night of swimming, games, snacks, and fun with friends! See Amanda for details.

HOUSEWARMING: Brandon, our new Student Director, is finally here! Please be sure to catch him in the coming weeks and welcome him to our NHCC family. We also want to help Brandon get started here with some basic essentials for his new home. Please speak with your Life Group leader or contact the office for more details about needed items.

SUMMER STUDY: Joshua - "Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Join us Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30pm here at the church. Mark your Connect Card or contact Debbie Harrington with questions.

SUMMER PLAYDATE SERIES: Join Amanda this summer with your kids of all ages for a playdate! We’ll meet select Wednesdays at both 10 am and 6:30pm at the North Park Black and Gold playground. Parker will be available to hang with students in the evenings, only. No sign ups needed, just come hang out. Keep an eye on social media for weather updates and email Amanda with any questions.  Next playdate: July 16th.

PICKLEBALL GROUP: Join us on select Fridays from 7-9pm at Blueberry Hill Park for some friendly pickleball. Open to teens and adults of all ability levels- we’d love to teach you if you don’t know how to play- paddles provided. Contact Amanda with questions.
